Anna Fritze 

Hello! My name is Anna, and I am and English major with an emphasis in journalism. I am also the Copy Editor for The Sword Newspaper. This is my first semester at the Writing Center, and I am looking forward to helping students be who they want to be as writers. My hobbies include reading, listening to music, and enjoying nature!


Ahna Groen

Hello, my name is Ahna. I am a Secondary English Education major with a minor in Religion. I hope to be a high school English teacher and later get my doctorate in Education or English. In my free time, I like to write, paint, and watch movies (Ferris Buellers Day Off is my favorite). This is my second semester working in the Writing Center, and I am looking forward to working with you!



Joel Bisser

Hello! I have been an educator for 20 years and am currently the Writing and Academic Outreach Coordinator/Student Support Services Instructor at Concordia University where I supervise the Writing Center. I enjoy spending time with my family: a wife of 18 years, 12 year old daughter and 8 year old cocker/English Springer Spaniel. My passions and hobbies include fishing, hiking, traveling, reading and writing. I am the author of a collection of poetry titled Belief Stones published in 2015 and Voices of TRiO Students: Promoting Equity and Social Justice through the Federal TRiO Programs (2009).
