Use this guide to help you choose the best sources for your projects and papers.

What is Bias?

Bias is an often unfair prejudice for or against something compared to something else. Bias can show up in different ways in the sources we read and watch. Use these videos to help you identify and acknowledge potential bias in your sources.

Note: just because you find bias in an article or source doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. Instead, you can acknowledge the bias in your paper or project.
