Getting Started

This video gives an overview of the main features of Zotero with screen captures. This video is from 2021 and Zotero is always being updated so be sure the check out Zotero's Quick Start Guide and their full collection of documentation if anything looks different from your screen, or to find more information on Zotero features. 

Creating Citations and Bibliographies

Zotero comes with word processor plugins and can be used with Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, and Google Docs. If you already have one of these on your computer, the plugin will be installed automatically when you download Zotero. Google Docs integration comes with the browser extension (Zotero Connector). 

CSP students can download Office 365 including Microsoft Word for free-- just visit the IT Help Desk website and fill out the request form, and they will get you started with an account.
