Children's Literature

OneSearch is a good place to start your research. Use this search box to find books by title or by topic.

Find physical items in the CSP Library:

1. Use keywords to locate books on a topic of your choice (e.g. Math, Art, Birds, Diversity, Friendship, etc.)

2. Limit to Physical items@CSP to find children's materials in the CSP Library.

3. Limit to a collection or collections in the CSP Library (e.g. Picture Books, Juvenile Nonfiction, etc.)

4. Children's books are located on the lower level of the Library Technology Center. Contact the library if you need help finding library materials.

Find online items in the CSP Library:

1. Use keywords to locate books on a topic of your choice (e.g. Math, Art, Birds, Diversity, Friendship, etc.)

2. Limit to Online items @CSP

3. Limit to Books (this will help you limit to online ebooks only)

4. Limit by Genre:

• Fiction, Poetry, Folklore, etc. (selecting these will help you locate Children's Picture ebooks and other ebook fiction)

• Think of simple words for your topic. For example, Math or Geometry.
• The word juvenile is used like a tag to find children's books. You can use it as a keyword along with your topic keyword. For example, geometry juvenile.

Looking for more books like the one you found in OneSearch? Look at the Details section in the book's result info to find helpful Subject Tags.

• Click on a Subject Tag to create a new search for all items with that subject tag.

Search by Math Topic Categories:

1. Click on the Children's Math Books link below to browse children's math books available in the CSP library collection. You can search within the collection by different math categories (e.g. addition, counting, fractions, etc.)
