Brainfuse tutoring is an online tutoring service that is available to CSP students throughout the year! Brainfuse tutors are professional tutors who are trained to help students understand their assignments and master course material.
You can live-chat with a tutor for a variety of subjects including math, biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, sociology, history, Python, Adobe, and more. Additionally, Brainfuse offers professional tutoring for courses that peer tutoring might not support, including upper division courses in math and sciences, graduate-level courses, and professional courses such as Nursing.
Looking for writing help? Check out the 24/7 Writing Chat page on the Writing Center website to see the writing services Brainfuse offers.
Brainfuse live-chat tutoring is available throughout the school year and in the summer. Students are able to chat with a tutor in real time and interact with a tutor via a virtual whiteboard. Students are limited to 20 hours of Brainfuse tutoring per month.
You do not need to schedule an appointment in advance in order to access Brainfuse. You also don’t need to sign-up for an account on Brainfuse. Once you click the “Access Brainfuse” button on this page, you’ll be prompted to sign-in using your CSP email. Once in, you’ll be able to choose a topic and subject under the Live Help box on the Brainfuse homepage.
Availability for specific subjects vary with some courses offered 24/7 and other courses with more limited availability. You can check the availability of a subject after choosing a topic and subject on the Brainfuse homepage.
If you’d rather send your question to a tutor for a response, Brainfuse allows you to get asynchronous help from tutors. To access this feature, simply click Expert Help at the top of the Brainfuse homepage and select “Send Question.”
Tutors will respond to your question within one business day, which means if you submit a question Friday, you should receive a response sometime before the end of day Monday.
In addition to their online tutoring services, Brainfuse offers a variety of free academic tools for you to use and which might be helpful for students studying for a course.
