Announcements are an ideal way to post time-sensitive information critical to course success. Including:
due dates for assignments and projects
clarification of materials
scheduling updates
New announcements appear when students enter a course. They will need to close the new announcement before they can view the course content. All announcements can be viewed through the Announcement link under Details & Actions
Attendance is a tool integrated directly into Blackboard to help faculty track student attendance within their course.
